PreSchool vs Daycare
What’s the difference between a preschool and a day care center?
A preschool is an age-appropriate education facility designed to develop the mental and social development of their students. At Academy Arts Preschool, we address these areas and also add the element of physical development in both small and large motor coordination. Small motor coordination aids in writing skills and large motor skills help to develop balance, coordination and self-confidence.
A day care center is a facility that provides daytime or nighttime child supervision for a range of ages. It may or may not have educational components geared to preparing students for kindergarten and beyond.
